The Association
A diverse group of women in relationships to ENCOURAGE, SUPPORT, and INSPIRE through fellowship and KINGDOM LIVING.
Discipleship
Ruth 1:16
As we follow Jesus and are continually transformed into His likeness, we gather regularly to grow in our faith, which allows us to join Him in making more disciples. Mature saints, as well as new and seasoned believers, share practical knowledge and Godly wisdom. The mentoring relationship provides guidance, encouragement, and support.
Kingdom Living
Psalm 95
Living in the Kingdom is our way of life. We demonstrate Christ's reign in our daily actions—by obeying His guidance, being Spirit-led, and embodying the values of God’s Kingdom now, while we await its fullness when Christ returns. As citizens of the Kingdom, we acknowledge God's rule and authority.
Fellowship
1 Timothy 4:14
In Scripture, fellowship (koinonia in Greek) means sharing, participation, and partnership. Spiritual gifts were given by the Holy Spirit not just for individual benefit, but to build up and strengthen the whole body of Christ. The apostle Paul compares the church to a body (1 Corinthians 12): each member has a role, and when each part shares its gift, the whole body grows in unity and strength.
Leadership
The founder of The Ruth Experience is a devoted woman of God. She serves as the executive director of a nonprofit organization focused on child welfare, an altar prayer warrior, and an advisor to the NAACP Youth Council.
She is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry and holds multiple graduate degrees, a bachelor’s degree, and several certifications in Christian ministry. She has taught as an adjunct lecturer in higher education and has served as a church trustee, schoolteacher, women’s ministry facilitator, and counselor for individuals, families, and marriages.
Having accepted Christ in 1994, she remains steadfast in her belief that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that God exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Her earnest prayer is that every man, woman, and child will come to know the depth of God’s love and live on purpose, using their God-given gifts.
ALIGNMENT!
ALIGNMENT!
As we STEP into 2026, we extend our heartfelt blessings to each of you. May this be a year where the desires of your heart are fulfilled according to God’s perfect will, and where every seed you’ve sown in faith begins to flourish.
May 2026 draw you into a deeper, more intimate relationship with Christ Jesus—one marked by clarity, obedience, peace, and unwavering trust. As you walk forward, may you do so with courage and confidence, aligned with your God-given purpose and destiny.
It is our prayer that this year brings renewed strength, divine direction, and supernatural favor in every area of your life. May you walk boldly, love deeply, and live fully in the calling God has placed upon you.
With gratitude and expectation!
“In life, we often talk about prerequisites, things that must come first before we can move forward. You can’t take the advanced course until you’ve mastered the basics. You can’t build the second floor until the foundation is strong. One of my favorite topics we’ve discussed in a Ruth experience meeting is based on kingdom living, which is rooted in the Scripture Matthew 6:33,” But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” In a nutshell, this means that when we seek Jesus, who is the head of the kingdom, we submit to his will and purpose, fashion ourselves after his image and likeness, and heed his direction, and everything we desire will align. In further reflecting on Matthew 6:33, I was drawn to a couple of prerequisites mentioned in Matthew 6:28: “Why worry about what you will eat or wear?” This right here sealed it for me …Because when the pre-requisite is in place, when our hearts are anchored in Him, we no longer live in anxiety or fear but in the assurance that He got us covered, and by faith, therefore, we should operate in obedience, seek God’s kingdom, which is a prerequisite for all good things to be added unto us.
The Ruth Experience has helped me live that truth out, coupled with trying to mirror sis April’s unwavering stance in how she lives her life by intentionally putting kingdom first, has further solidified my need to seek God’s kingdom first as well. The Ruth experience has also allowed me to embrace prayer, sisterhood, surrender to God, and spiritual growth… to let go of fear and worry, to trust and seek God first, to surrender to God’s will and purpose for my life, and to move from anxiety to alignment.”
